Essential Oils for Dark Circles

Essential Oils are once again becoming popular for treating everything from fatigue to acne to dark circles. The oils that seem to work best for dark circles are Papaya, Aswagandha, Neem and Sandalwood Oil. Because each oil performs a different task in eliminating dark circles, they should be used combination.

There are several products on the market that utilize essential oils to target dark circles and they seem to produce good results when used consistently. Most are sold in powder form and must be mixed with cucumber or Aloe Vera gel to form a paste.

Using essential oils for dark circles

Before applying the paste to the under-eye area, you must add a combination or milk, honey or both to the paste. It is also recommended that you use a facial steam bath before applying the paste to prepare your face for the treatment and open the pores.

It is recommended that you apply the paste at a convenient time, as you have to keep it on for 30-45 minutes.

Because you have to use these products several times a week for 2-3 weeks before seeing visible results, this can be a tedious way to get rid of your dark circles. But if you have the time and patience, the results are impressive.

If you'd like to see results a little bit faster (and without all the mess!) try our #1 recommended dark circles eye serum.
